Is that cut to size? When I made my sump said:Yep thats what they said! I should probably ask though hopefully they will cut somewhat small pieces. My tank is going to be a 28" shallow cube.
My last resort is glass cages, although they only charge $3/sq ft with shipping it increases to like $4.50 (and I'm not sure about the cut quality knowing glass cages)
28" cube I think you will need to go thicker than 1/4 inch at least 3/8" Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk said:Well its shallow though, only 12" high
Might ask if the glass is tempered or non tempered if you are gonna drill holes also does that include the edges are rolled and polished or sand papered Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk said:Here at the place in FW it would be for regular plate glass (non tempered), with the edges sanded (not polished). They told me that they can do polished for (if i remember correctly) either 0.40/foot or $4/foot ... one of the two. Either way im not wanting the edges polished anyway.
For my DIY sumps I always use Bedford Glass. They usually cut me 3 pieces under a square foot for around 12 to 15 dollars. said:Bedford glass, FYI, is $5.50 per square foot for regular (plate) 1/4" glass. They can also order Starphire and its $19/sq ft for 1/4" thick.
