To make a long story short:
I wanted to get more movement in my tank so I was attempting to do the "stream" mod that some are doing over on RC. When I open my powerhead, whoa! was it dirty. I gave it a quick cleaning and proceeded with the "stream" mod. Well my first attempt did not go as plan so I put my powerhead back together and placed it back in the tank. BAM! A lot more flow! I was amazed how much more movement I was getting from just cleaning my powerhead, so I went ahead and pulled the other one out also. Now I have plenty of flow and decided I no longer need the "stream" mod.
Moral? Clean your powerheads!!!! :lol: :lol: :lol:
