Chalice feeding?

I know this may sound strange... but I have never seen a chalice eat before... I have had a frag of watermellon in my tank for a couple of weeks and this morning I saw it eating... very cool!

most eyes will open up and extend tentacles to feed regularly, i know mine do so every night. all corals feed in one way or another, light is only part of what they need to truly do well.

do I need to be feeding direct?... It is growing very well...

I feed my chalices directly 2 times a week, they seem to be growing at a very fast pace.

They will do better with it but don't be require it

ok... next question... what can I feed them?

i normally squirt cyclopeez at them. its a great food for the tank.

yep, and my leopard wrasse goes crazy for it too, so its good all around
