Simply awesome

That is pretty cool. The only thing better would be to have a basement, where you could work on the tank. Then you could walk over to a chair facing this blank wall, sit down, pick up a remote, point it, *click*, you sit there as the tank rises up from the basement.

wow, not often you come across something new that cool...thanks for sharing, i soooo wish i had the space to do that.

LOL.... whats next?? Spinners on the overflows? Pimp out your tank.....

Its a neat idea though I am not thrilled with the idea of hydrolic fluid that close to my tank. If it was air driven, that would be better, or is this one air driven???

A manual pully system on the sliders would eliminate that risk and wouldn't take much effort or an electronic motor to pull the ropes.

that is completely awesome .. but man only one Actuator?? that would kind of scare me.... wobble wobble :)

this is a motor actuator not air or hydraulic 12 VDC. And as for wobble the two drawer slides keep it strait. if it wasn't strait they would bind up. hope you don't mind me fixing your spelling.
