Can you help me place my coral?

Okay so first off thank you to those involved in setting up the Next Wave event. It was splendid. Only one problem, I bought coral like a crack head buys drugs after winning the lottery. I need help with placment and ID would be nice too.

I will start off with just the chalices then after those are ID'd then I will move to the next genus.

I am looking for where to place them in my tank, what flow, ect.

I have a 34g Red Sea Max 130D with 54 watt PC T-5 X2. Thats about 3.5 watts per gallon.

Thank you for the help and when you are speaking about a certain coral but dont know its ID you can just refer to it by its number.

So if you could comment on placing it say, hi in the tank (given my light) or say in a low flow area, ect I would LOVE the help.

I'm not too big on names but i can tell you the first coral isn't a chalice. It's a favia, similar to one named the war coral.

Most chalices like to be low in the tank( on the sand or on a rock in the sand) with decent flow. Not in front of a powerhead though. [smilie=smile.gif]

Coral 1 appears to be war coral favia. Moderate flow, moderate lighting. Tank placement depends on what lighting you have in your tank.

Corals 2 throuh 5 are chalices. Once again... moderate flow, moderate lighting... I'd say they're good lower in the tank than the war coral, but once again depends on your tank lighting. Bottom of a tank with MH... but who knows how high they would need to go if under PC or something.
