I have a 34 gal Solana tank, live rock, corals, snails, crabs, 3 fish...
The tank is about 1 year old, the contents about 5 years old - we downsized from an inwall 140 gallon when we moved.
About 6 - 8 months ago I noticed this hair-looking purple stuff starting to grow out of a rock covered with mushrooms that I have had about 5 years. Now there is something else growing beside it, some kind of leafy thing, also purple. I left them alone, both things are cool-looking. I guess they are some kind of plants, but have no idea what.
Any ideas what they are?
