Can you glue a broken LPS back together?

I have a beautiful 25-head candy cane that has broken in two after my cinammon clown decided it was in the way and knocked it over. The break is close to the base of the branches, about 2 to 3 inches from any of the heads. Right now, I just have the two pieces resting on each other, but it just isn't the same. Would there be any harm in trying to superglue them back together?

So long as the break is near the base and the glue wouldn't come in contact with the soft tissue of the coral, then it should be fine.

try usin a small wire tie(zip tie)... my frogspawn broke in half like that and used a wire tie to put it back together. Eventually the wire tie will get coraline algae on it to cover it up..
