I have this growing on one of my rocks and do not know if it is good or bad. Could you tell me what it is and if it is good or bad for the rest of my corals.

I have had them since I picked the rock up and they have came from thee to six now. I was just trying to mke sure that they were not that Asptia(SP).

yep yellow button polyps and they will spread like crazy i had one... i now have over 100!!! in less than a yr

Lance... you got the rock from me!! It's yellow polyps. I purchased a colony of them and they attached to that piece of LR. I told you, you were getting a great deal!!! The fools who passed on that deal.

It already has GSP on it at the top. You can see par tof it in the tor right of the picture. Wounder if there is a way to donate this to the co-op program. In other words is there a way to frag this stuff out?

Oh everyone that I show the tank to I let them know that I got this from you and that I have only had my tank up and running for over a month now.

I did not get a good deal, I got a great deal on the rock. Thanks Frank!!!

If you want stony corals they are terrible things to have in the tank b/c they will sting and kill them. If you only want soft corals, then they are great! You can put a bunch of mushrooms, green star polyps, zooanthids and leathers.

I think for my first tank I am goin gto stick with the soft adn LPS due to the way they all look and the ease of care for them all the way to the lighting.

I've been hunting for similar polyps for two years now, killing one by one with powdered calcium but they just keep coming back, in my opinion they are worse then aptasia because you can't just buy peppermints and get rid of them, if you like them then its cool, just try to keep them on one rock.
