Can someone tell me what these are, and if they are bad

That is what I thought they were, Hopefully my Coral banded shrimp will take care of them before they get out of hand

i had a big one, it hid in the rock, it is about 6 inches long if you pull it out. when i took the rock out, it came out so i was so scare, then i tossed it out in the trash. Well, i didnt know what it was. i am a newbie.

Just don't touch them. Their setae (bristles) can cause some who have certain allegies react. If you are stung, just stick your hand in some distilled vinegar, or some expensive stuff if you have too, and they will dissolve.

In my 38-gallon tank, I have hundreds that come out when I feed and they keep my sand pretty clean and white.

I found a two foot one in my 36 gallon a few weeks ago when moving around some rocks. Now I know where all the fish that don't make it go when they die in the rocks :p
