Calcium reactor recomendations

I need to replace a faulty reactor with a new one that is not to complicated and not overly expensive. Tank is 75 gal sps/lps. Any suggestions?

Before I switched to 2 part dosing I ran a dual chamber my reef creation reactor build quality was really good

The brand is an AquaC RX-1. The issues are usually pump related(Eheim 1250), which should be a good pump. The impellars seem to wear out quickly 4-6 months. The other issue is sludge or "fines" that seem to get into the plumbing and end up clogging the pump. My media was not coarse enough last time and it seems to be an issue. The pump usually needs to be primed. It does it's job when running, the issue is keeping it running. Just curious if there is one that is more maintenance or in my case, idiot free.

I have a Precision Marine calcium reactor which also uses an eheim pump. I have never had any problems with my pump so I wonder if you had a defective pump from the beginning. Is there any way to replace the pump. When I was checking the specs on your reactor the website notes that the eheim pump has a two year warranty. Any chance it is still under warranty?

If you do go with a new reactor make sure it has a pH probe holder. Mine does not have this and I really wish it did.

It was also saying that the Eheim pump both circulates and feeds the water to the reactor. How does it do this? Wonder if this may be causing some of the problem?

I would run a feed pump and run a courser media it may be a combination of running dry and getting clogged with media. I run a PM reactor and I clean my reactor every 6 months and it's been running flawlessly for 2 years
