calcium precipitation

I just started dozing Kali using the drip method and started to notice my tank getting a little cloudy today. I mixed 1 tsp Kali with 2 lifer of water. I realized I made it to potent. I will use 1 tsp per 5 gallons next time. Anyway, my ph is still around 8.4 as it always is and my ca is at 420. Should I be worried about this? I stopped the drip as soon as I noticed the cloudiness. And will the cloudiness go away on its own or do i need to do something? I just put some new carbon in my filter if that will help any. Thanks for any help.

What is the alk level at?

I don't have an alk test right now. I need to get one asap. I can still see all the way through end to end on a 90 gal tank. Hope I caught it in time. Forgot to stop the drip when I shut down the powerheads and filter for a water change. Could this have caused this?

I would not drip kalk without an Alk kit and a ph monitor. No way would I trust a ph test kit as they are not accurate at all.

If I am not mistaken, the water will cloud if magnesium is too low even when properly dosing lime water. Someone please correct me if I am wrong!

Water can only absorb kalk to a certain level before its completely saturated. I wouldnt worry. You can use a tiny bit of plain white vinegar IF AND ONLY IF the ph sky rockets. As stated... Ph test kit is not very reliable. I would find someone with a probe. I would guess it clears completely in a day or 2. What is the tank stocked with?
