[I installed new tubes in my overflow box and one of the rubber washers will not seem to reseal. :very angry: :taz:

Any suggestions maybe hot or cold water???]

[You need to tighten the nut, enough to make it stay in place rigidly, but not so tight the the bulkhead is smashed out of the fitting.

They are very hard to work on, as I had the priviledge with Anthony and Kevin's tanks, two weeks in a row!]

[The bulk head inner wall that seals the glass had a nice scratch. I had to cut a bottom piece of pvc to get it out. Had to replace the wholce piece also the thread were stripped at the end so I couldn't force it down any more and it hold.]

[replaced the whole bulkhead still have leaking
:very angry: :very angry: :cussing: :taz: :taz:]

[I got it fixed, I turned the pipe connecting to it  and it helped lock down the bulkhead :D :laugh long:  :cool grin:]

[2.5 hours to fix it (according to your posts).

Sounds about right. :uhoh:]

[I got it fixed but due to some electrical issue I killed the breaker and some how that ruptured the seal any ideas????]

[Get someone over there to look at it. I can't imagine a breaker tripping causing a bulkhead to leak.]

[No I had to turn off the ball valve and turn off the pump because I had to fix an electrical issue.]

[It sounds like your seal wasn't very secure, so I'd suggest trying to retighten the nut a bit better. And do your best not to jerk it back out of place when closing that ball valve.

If your sump is set up correctly, even if your return pump is turned off, your sump should hold the excess water.

If you are using a Durso Standpipe in your overflow box, that will limit even more water from draining down.]
