Bristle worms - how big is too big???

Is there a point when a bristle worm is too big? I am taking down my 80 gallon (selling and leaving the hobby - at least for a while). When I was pulling the rock out to sell the remaining live stock, we saw this huge worm that was at least 1 foot in length. I should have taken a picture of it, but didn't think of that (was too much in awe/shock).

Anyways, what are your thoughts on worms this large?

Thanks!

We have a few worms that are 12-18" in length, and they've been model citizens as far as I can tell. As long as they actually are bristle worms and not one of the coral eating polycheates, I'd say leave em.

Yup... its not the size, its the type. So long as its not a predatory species, the size won't matter.

In some cases you can have a population explosion though and if you have a mass die off it could be a problem.

Thanks for the replies! I do believe these are the good ones. Hopefully anyone that purchases the remaining live rock I have for sale will enjoy them as much as I have (weird I know).

Thanks again!
