brine shrimp lifespan?

Ok so it takes about 24 hours give or take 6 or so for brine shrimp to hatch.

BUT how long do they live? Will they grow bigger too? What should I feed them if anything?

I've been thinking about using a 10G tanka nd putting in a divider to grow some out. I'd fine some sort of small net or mesh to scoop them out.

You can grow them on and actually get them breeding. A 10 gallon would be fine. Some people even put them in a bucket outside (obviously a shady area) and let what ever pollen/airborne particles that land in the bucket feed them. I"ve had no luck with this (is OUR air too polluted?) but others swear by it.

I grow mine on when I can to a couple of weeks old. Phytoplankton/Marine Zoe/Artemia food are all good for feeding - a little will go a long way.

why? i keep on hearing that when they get older and bigger they have no nutritonal value. said:
The great thing about brine shrimp is that they are filter feeders so you can add different vitamins/enrichments to the portion you are feeding out, let them swim in it for a few hours and then feed your aquarium tasty enriched brine shrimp.
