Bonehead move of the week!

I've had the 75 running with rock and substrate for about a week now. I've been having a terrible trying to keep it cool. seems no matter what it would only come down to ~83*F. This morning, I decided to reach in and grab the heater. It shouldn't be stuck on as it has no controller. It is the titanium tube only. Guess what? IT WAS HOT!! I thought "what in the world"? So....I start running through the menus on the ACjr. and BAM!!! The alarm for overheating was set to the same outlet on the DC8 as the heater. This of course had the heater running all the time. I have rectified the situation so now maybe the temp will come back down and stay there.

Yeah... at least you didn't go spend $800+ for a chiller and then figure it out... That would have been my luck!!!

Well, halides have been on for 4.5 hrs and the temp is at 78.5*F.
I am so glad I figured it out. I was already looking around at chillers. I was sooo close to buying one.
