blue spotted jawfish

I bought a jawfish about a month ago. The first week he dug a home on the left side of my tank. A week later he dug a home on the right side of the tank. He moves from one home to the other every week. Has this happened to anyone else? Is this a sign that he is stressed? Is he just like my wife, always wanting to move or change up the house? [smilie=lol.gif] Any help would be appeciated.
 
add some live rock rubble close to where he currently is to build his home and it might help. mine moved several times until i did this and he used over a pound of it.
 
When I had a jawfish he moved around alot. He would snatch up any thing that he could carry in his mouth. I ended up putting lots of small empty shells around him so he could use them in his home. Unfortunately, He jumped out of my tank and got stuck in the hole of the egg crate. I will suggest something smaller if you decide to put up a cover.
 
I will get him some more rubble for him. I gave him a small pile already, but it sounds like he needs more. My canopy is completely closed off so he can not go anywhere. I am hoping that he settles down and gets happy soon.
