Blue powder tang not eating

I have two fish which I have placed in quarantine due to ICH. A foxface and blue powder tang. They are in a 20 gallon tank with a few pieces of pvc pipe, air stone, heater and a maxijet to circulate the water. I did a freshwater dip on both fish and the Ich appears to have cleared on both of them. Tfhe problem I am having is they are not eating. The tang has not eaten for 3days and is looking very skinny. His lips look very large and I am worried about him. I have feed them brine and mysis shrimp with algae sheets. The foxface is picking at the algae but, not eating very much of the shrimp. Anyone have any ideas what to do? I don't think the the tang came last much longer without eating.

I have heard of over feeding tangs to clear ick, however if your tangs are not eating at all.... try dipping nori in garlic.

How long have they been in the q tank? Maybe its shock/stress and hopefuly eat soon...oops, saw 3 days. Tried other foods? (flake/pellet/there favorite?)...sorry im not much help.

When I got home today the tang was dead. . I guess he was too far gone. The treatment I did was a freshwater bath for two min. then transfer to another tank at added Ich Cure from the fish store for 3 days. It contains malachite green hydrochloride. No signs of Ich on the foxface. Now I have to try to save the foxface. I check the water quality and amonnia was high along with nitrates and nitrites. I have done a 50 percent water change and am running denitrate in a cannister filter to bring down the numbers. How often should I test the water. This is the first time I have done this. The water circulation is much better now.The foxface is starting to move around more which is a good sign. I have put some romain lettuce for him to graze on. I think that this should help save him. If anyone has any ideas please share them.

ah man....
that sucks. Im sorry.
Matt knows what he's saying...you may want to stabilize. I would maybe get things back to "normal" for a little, and then start the process (admit..dont know about the meds)

Im very sorry to hear about the tang.

Thanks for the info. I just tested again and ammonia is 1 ppm which is very high. I think it is due to the tang dying. How much water should I change with each water change? I have him in a 20gallon. Nitrite is .25 and Nitrate is 10.
Before I removed the two fish the tang was the only one that show signs for about 3weeks. One morning I saw the foxface had several spots all over so that is when I removed them both. What are the chances that the foxface is not infected? I know that they can fight off Ich. I just want to do what's best for the fish and don't know if I acted too quickly. How should I feed him. If he is not eating much I don't want to have food add to the problem. The last question is regarding copper treatment. I don't thing the hyposalinity sound very easy.
Thanks for everyones help.

The fish looks ok now. I don't see any signs of parasites on him. I will get the copper treatment tomorrow and begin. Thanks for your help Matt.

Bill, you need to get the rest of the fish out of the tank, or as soon as you put the foxface back in, he'll be immediately reinfected. :(
