Blue Porcelain Crabs?

Does anyone have experience with these animals? The description says they are reef safe and are filter feeders. I really would like feedback since the emerald crab ate my porites coral (and then vanished). And my blood red shrimp hides all the time (because he is alone?).

If it's like the normal porcelain crab I've never had a problem with mine. It stays very active and visible all day. Here is a pic of it getting food, it does this all day. I've never had a blood shrimp but have always heard they hide alot my pom pom boxer crab I'm lucky if I see it once every other week or so.

i have had these in the past and i will have a couple in my new tank im setting up, they are really neat to have around and i have never had a problem with them messing with anything in my tank.

I got two of these recently from Reeftopia. I heard they did better in pairs. I saw one the first day but have not seen both today.

I got nostalgic about these. The picture in the above post is great. I ordered 4 small ones from Reeftopia. They came in and were only as big as a quarter.

I have really tried to keep track of these and have them in the sea grass tank. They stay hidden except when I put in the Oyster Feast or other food. I guess they will snag all kinds of small bits of food from the water column. They do not bother either my corals or my tiny masked gobies.

So far I still have all four. They have molted at least once each. I am glad they are sure neat to watch.
