Black stringy stuff on Zoos!

I did not have these on my zoos earlier today. Now a lot of them have this black stringy stuff on them. It looks like it is coming out of their mouths. Any Ideas? I don't know if I should be worried or not. Sorry about poor pic quality.

It's a really fuzzy picture but I know Chris has starfish that live among his zoos and whenever he feeds their little arms wave around looking for food. They don't look like starfish, just little arms waving around. That's the only two cents I can add.

I am wondering if this is some sort of "zoo vomit." It isn't a star fish, at least I don't think it is. It seems to be a long black string. I hope they are ok. I have had these zoos for a couple of weeks now, and they have really started popping out within the last week. More seem to pop out every day.

Holy crap! I never thought of it being zoo poo! I guess I need to move then to a high flow area so it gets blown off of them. Looking at them now, a lot of them no longer have the poo coming out of their mouths, but there is a ton of this stuff still all over them.
