Black Silicone

I'm in the process of re-siliconing a tank for a friend and it has black silicone instead of the clear stuff. Does anyone here know what type they use to seal the tank? And also where to get it?

Sure. The stuff you want is Dow Corning 795. It comes in different colors but the black is obviously what you will want. You can get it at:

Oh, thats good to know. I really like the black silicone look on my new oceanic 33 cube i bought (and have not yet set up :sad: )

Bulldogger has pointed you in the right direction. When you go into the store it'll be out for you to pickup and take to the counter unlike most everything else they sell.
