Black algae

[I have black algae looking stuff on one part of my sand and growing up a rock. It looks kind of hairy. In all my years I have never seen anything like it. I wish I could take a picture of it but dont have a digital camera anymore. If someone knows what it is and how to get rid of it please let me know.]
 
[Yes but it comes right back fast at that. Thought maybe it was caused by some broken off pieces of Monti digita in the sand that died but I removed it and it still comes back]
 
[Cyro algae, Red Slime, Try increasing water flow over the slime area. If that doesn't work go chemical warfare. Chemi Clean.]
 
[Found some articles on it. It is caused by low oxygenated water/food nutrients/ water flow and such. From what I gather I just need to syphon do a water change and not let the wife and kids feed anymore. It is a type of Cyano and trust me it is a site for soar eyes. The only thing that eats them are hermits which will never go in my tank. Thanks for the help guys]
