BJ and Critter

Sorry it took so long to get on here. when we left my drivers door wouldnt shut right finally got it to grab a little then it wouldnt open. got home and got everything in and started setting up and filling it and the bulkheads were leaking but i was able to get the fuge back far enogh to catch the drips ( i still gaotta put orings in to stop the leak ) but it is all set up and running and awesome. i was up until 6 am i will get some pics up soon. A big thanks to everyone for the help
 
Here are a couple of pics the cloudy one is right after i set up the clear one os the next day. my wife is talking about getting me some brains to put in the tank (or maybe she was talking about for my head lol)
 
Man, that looks great! Im glad its finally up and running, I know you had been waiting a while. Im hoping one day we can all meet with no rush, maybe even do some tank tours in the future between you, critter and who ever else we run into in the area. Awesome!
 
I see only one of my pics showed up well atleast it was the clear one. G do you have any frags left for sale?
maybe that tank tour is the way to do our meetings. i will volunteer to host the first one. On the 11th or 12th of feb i am going to Arlington for a reptile show maybe we could hit up some people on the boards or some dfw stores. just a thought we have a little while to plan.
 
Cool, I like the idea of tank tours for meetings. Yes actually I still have some. Not sure what your looking for but let me know what you want and ill tell you if i have it.
 
I need some green and blue in my tank. My wife wanted the green milli from jason a few months back I need to get some cheato too i didnt know that the tank jason had sitting on the bar was stuff for sale i thought i heard him say that stuff was set aside for somebody so if he still has it in 2 weeks when i get paid i will probably buy that stuff from him.
 
Cool, not sure if your looking for sps or lps but, I got green trumpets for sale, I have a green monti spongodes frag, one frag of orange bam bams zoanthids, some keds reds zoanthids, some green birds nest frags, few frags of orange cap, one of orange digita, one of green digita, got a few of rainbow monti, also have a few frags of aussie duncan, one frag of blue tip staghorn, there is not a lot of blue in there i know, im just not ready to frag my Blue milli right now, cant get myself to do it jajaja. Anyway, one of these days if you guys wanna come down your more than welcome just let me know so we can plan, if its easier for me to send pics thats fine too, just let me know i guess.
 
No need for pics lol we will just invade and get what we can i will get with chris and see when we can both make it. And if there is anything you want me to pick up when i go to the metroplex and you cant make it let me know eventually all of our tanks are going to have the same things in them.
I wasnt sure about that sailfin tang but i think i do like him the other day my wife was placing some frags and she was scared of him so i put my hand in there and he came up and started nibbling on my fingers like he was cleaning them it was pretty cool. i do still want a powder brown though jason said they should be ok in the same tank so i hope so.
 
Yeah man that tang is gorgeous, I got mine to where i can hand feed him, its pretty cool, I just grab some nori (small piece) and fold it and stuff a little bit of mysis in it maybe a few pellets, then put my fingers in the water, as soon as he makes the food go everywhere all the others get confident and start coming up too, a lot of personality there.
 
Chris may not be getting anything for a while though he is haveing problems with his tank again that huge green birdsnest and the humulus are almost totaly dead. i talked to jason and he thought it might have been a bacteria bloom but chris thinks one of the kids poured a chemical in it
 
What's up! Been a while....
I think one of the kids might have poured about half of a big bottle of Melafix in my sump, as well as some soda ash in my RODI water....
I lost all of the blue humulus, the green birdsnest and some smaller frags. BJ is housing a couple things nursing them for me.
I'm afraid to buy anything right now. Once my tank is stable and I can keep things safely, I'll be right back into buying. It was very discouraging at first. I almost considered dropping out completely...

....and BTW, BJ's tank looks awesome!
 
wow, I feel ya. Hopefully everything gets better, wish you the best on that. BJ, your an awesome dude man, thats cool your helping him by watching his stuff. Any word on a meet in February? Do you guys still want to? Just checking waters on that subject.
 
Here is a quick pick of mine, havent been able to really figure out these lights yet but im working on it (im not to savy on lighting). N/E way, Critter, what percentage do you have ur leds on?

never mind, I guess the pick didnt come out. The pick was really blue anyway, it was evening and i havent adjusted it where i want it yet
 
I see the pic and it is very blue i like it though it looks like night time. I am game for a feb meeting. and i am definately going to arlington on the 12th so if yall meed something from there let me know. Do you guys know anything about bluezooaquatics.com found them yesterday and the prices and selection look pretty good.
