[I know some disagree with this idea. I know some agree with it. the purpose of this posting is not to care about opinion just if you will be participating.
I hope Dragon Reef, DuaneD, Tommy Tucker, Marc, Misty, ryngill, Dré, Andy, kitty32, Austinian, and linuxfisher will participate again... Some have already PM or remarked on previous thread that they will/ will not particiapate, both are ok. However, please restate it in the thread only if you plan to participate.
Here are the rules;
You may bring (in increments of a 1/2 cup) upto a cup of sand per tank. It may be new (straight from the bag) it maybe old. Please keep the sample wet!
For every 1/2 a cup of sand you will get a ticket; tickets will be redeemable for a 1/2 cup of sand.
I will bring a large salt bucket filled one third the way with RO/DI saltwater. You will empty your sand into the bucket. In an effort to keep inhabitants under disturbed it will not be stired... but instead I will allow it to spread out as it goes through the water.
Scoops will be taken in exact measurements of 1/2 cup.
Samples will be taken from bottom to top (I.E. I will dip the spoon to the very bottom then come up). That way you should get a portion of everyones sand.
We ask all persons with flat worms in their tank not to participate
We ask all person with dead sand bed to use new sand.
Any similiar problems we also ask you not participate.]
