Could be used for a small skimmer as was mentioned. It might be better suited to build a calcium or kalk reactor, or a DIY phosban reactor. Or you could use it to make guards for auto topoff float switches.
Lots of uses for it on a tank. If you were thinking of selling it a 6' section of the same would run somewhere between $20-30 for extruded 1/8" thick from allied.
