best way to get rid of flatworms

i set up a ten gallon nano filled with macro, within a week i started noticing flatworms popping up. i have a six line in my other tank but i know i will never catch him. is there anything else that gets rid of these things fast?

thanks, chris

Flat worm exit is the best route to go if you want to get rid of it in matter of seconds or you could go with the other route and get an army of six line wrasse. I would go with flat worm exit and buy it off of marine depot which is a lot cheaper than going to a lfs.

if you kill the flatworms make sure you vacuum them up as they are very toxic...

can someone post a pic of a flatworm so I will know what they look like and if this is what I have in my fuge, there seem to be alot of worm things crawling on my glass and I cant get a good pic to post to see if this is what they are.

Check out this thread and the associated podcast before you use this stuff. I'm not saying don't use it, but be aware of the ramifications.

Here is an article about Flatworms (Red Planaria specifically):

And here are some images of them. Turn off your popup stopper and click on the thumbnails for more details:
