Best T5 Color Combo for a 4 bulb set up

Hi DFWMAS,

Here is my question about lighting I have a T5 lamp that will hold 4 bulbs I was wondering what the best color combo there is for growing corals I do mostly softs. My tank is a 120 its a little deeper than long. So was wondering what would be the best for this. Most important is growth then the next would be look. I like a blue with a shimmering look and things that make corals stand out.

With the above being said I have to halogins that I was thinking about setting up and adding to the T5 combo what are your thoughts on that and if I do add those what would be the bulb selctions then.

Light placment I was thinking about pulling the T5 to the front of the tank and hanging the halogens so they would now shine down on most of the rock work. I am sure there are things you need to know that I am leaving out. Let me know and I will add them if need be.

Standard answer to best 4 bulb T5 setup is going to be 2x ATI Blue+, 1x ATI Coral+ or ATI Aquablue Special, and 1x ATI Purple+ or KZ Fiji Purple.

Personally, I'm running the 2x Blue+, Coral+, and KZ.
 
I ran 2 blue plus 1 Fiji purple 1 coral plus

I also added 2 blue led bars for that shimmering effect and supplement actinic.

Yeah, I've got 2 bars as well with 9x 3watt blue LEDs.

Running 3 blue+, 1 aquablue special, and two ecoxotic stunner strips on my frag tank. It's still not the same pop as I get on my DT next to it under all RB crees. Growth seems notable vs. my RB/CW LED's though...
 
I'm about to order 2 blue+, coral+ and purple+ all the sites are the same price wise it looks like. Reef geek has 9.99 shipping so guess that's the cheapest site.
