Best System for what I want ?

Hi DFWMAS,

I would like to have some bigger fish in the 6inch range maybe 3-4 with the least amount of gallons possible. I really would prefer a long rimless tank that is maybe a little more shallow. Was wondering if anyone knew of an ideal set up for something like this. There is not a lot of information but something along this lines. I would like to keep my BRE, a couple of nice show type fish (Achilles Tang or something like that, few bottom dwellers and maybe a school of something small. I would want light rock work and maybe an nem and some zoo's not to worried about corals just some easy colorful things. Just looking for some thoughts or if its possible.

Would say you need to look at 250+ for the Achilles tang but closer to 400 would be more ideal for that fish.

Could look at building a long shallow tank. Gets the swimming room for a tang and cuts down on gallons. Example, my tank is 72"x24"x16". Light rock work, long and a ton of swimming area.
