I bought a myreef mrc-2 skimmer, after it runs a few minutes the becket injector fills with water up to the air holes and stops producing any bubbles. How can I fix this? do I need a new injector ? any suggestion are welcome . I upgraded from a PM venturi skimmer an I'm not really familiar with the beckett design.
Thanks, Scott

mine fills up to the air holes with water as well, but doesn't stop the air bubbles from forming. can you open up the air valve any more? Maybe it just isn't drawing in enough.

i only do this for Ozone reasons, but you could try pumping air into it as well. hard to control the exact flow though.

You should open the air valve all the way open on the becket injector. Also, replace the cotton in the becket injector if it got wet. The water level on the MR2 should be in the first chamber when you cut all air to the becket injector.

Once you have everything set, wait two hours and you will see the bubbles form.

There is no way to prevent water in the beckett housing because it actually comes throught 4 holes on the beckett, does not matter how high you place the housing on the skimmer.
Your problem could be inside the beckett nozzle. Take a look at the picture, it should look like one on the left.

I think I figured it out, I had the water level to high in the riser . Reset everything and will see how it preforms.
Thanks , Scott
