Balanced alk/calc?

I have been messing around with this calculator...
http://www.kademani.com/reefchem.htm

It says the balanced alk for 380 calcium is 0.96 meq/l. That is 2.688dkh.
Does this sound right??? Isn't that REALLY low alk? and normal calcium levels...

For what its worth, calculators are great for adjusting for mismatches in Alk and Ca depending what zone you are in. If you haven't read this, this is a GREAT reference. I assume that you have given the fact that you've tried on 2 calculators

Anyway, I would do a 30% water change with a salt such as Reefcrystals, Tropic Marine or Sea Chem reef salt. (I would be weary of the Kent salt). This is the quickest way to make a safe adjustment without adding any supplimentation. This will help balance out. Recheck your parameters and make adjustments. I would shoot for the 3.0-3.5 meq level.

What is your pH?
