I got mine at the top, center piece in tank. 4t5HO and a strip of 27 3w LEDs. Moderate flow, I need to work on that one. It is mounted to a piece of rock rubble and has grown probably 10x since I picked it up from fish gallery.
So you think it would be happy with higher flow? I have a 220g tank. Mp60 on one end, 2 mp40s one the opposite. 3 400w mh with blue led actinic. Just trying to figure out where/how to put the echinata.
I am in the middle of rearranging the powerheads in my tank and happen to have less than I normally do. It hasnt shown any change since I have less flow. It will soon have a couple Koralia 1400's blowing past it so we will see what happens then! I can see polyps out on the ends of the skeletons almost all day long.
