atlantic blue tang

well we got this guy two days ago and he hasnt started to eat from what i can tell i feed both flakes and frozen brine shrimp and my other fish go nuts when food hits the water
i know its prob he just hasnt settled in but i figured i would ask anyways his tank mates are 3 percs 2 chromis a blue tang coris wrasse and a scooter blenny
 
How large is he? Is he in blue phase already, or yellow jeuvenile? Nori and other seaweeds are the way to go at first, until he gets the hang of what is food. Mine goes crazy for Tang Heaven and nori, even popping the veggie clip off of the glass!
 
well we have gotten him to eat he is rather picky eater he will only eat shrimp and my feather calurpa so idk he is in the blue phase though you can still see a little bit of blue in his body he is probably around the 2-3 inch range i wanna say hes about the same size of my blue tang that i bought at the 1 inch size who we have had for 5 months now
 
Glad he's eating. I'v never had an Atlantic Blue that will eat Calurpera! The one ihave right now is 6" long, and still yeloow, with the electric blue around his eyes and fins. He does darken to a deep dusky color, or get stripes on occasion though. He can't get enough of the dried seaweed, and especially like frozen Spirulina Brine Shrimp and Mysis. He won't touch live brine, which is wierd...
