I have a 4 bulb T5 HO fixture that I'm gonna replace the bulbs on soon. I was thinking:
1 purple +
1 Aquablue special
2 Blue +

Do you think this will be a good combination or do you have a better suggestion? Thanks
 
I had the same setup, I found that to be too white, I ran 2 blue plus, 1 actinic and a purple plus for awhile and found I didnt like the purple, Im now running 3 blue plus and one aquablue and I found the coloration is perfect to my liking, but thats really a matter of personal preference.
 
What Wicked said was true for me as well.

I started with 2 blue +, one GE 6500, one aquablue. This was way too white so I swapped the 6500 for a purple +. That was better, but the purple is a lot of purple if your only light source is the 4-bulb T5. With a 6 bulb, or when I added 42 LED's to the setup, the purple looked good, but with 4-bulb I would do 3 blue + and an aquablue.
