[I'm still fighting an infestation of pyramidellids that came in on my squamosa clam. I didn't know what they were at the time so I let them be...bad choice! :taz: They only seem to like the clam and astrea snails, my fighting conch, cerith and turbos are all pyramidellid free. At least they grab on to something that I can easily take out of the tank and remove the buggers with a soft toothbrush.
I have to do this with my clam at least once a week, I just take him out of the tank and over to the sink to gently brush the snails off. Clams will tolerate being removed from the water for a few minutes, just be sure to rock them back and forth to get the air bubbles out when you return them to the tank.]
