ASM skimmer overflowing ? Help

Tonight, I got home and noticed that my ASM G2 skimmer suddenly overflowing. It started to dump clean water into the collection cup and overflow back into the sump.

The foam are just as fine as normal, but I can't seem to adjust the separation line of water and bubbles inside the skimmer chamber.

For right now, I lowered the standpipe all the way down to keep the water from overflowing the neck of the collection cup.

I didn't use any epoxy recently, or anything that would trigger the skimmer to do this.

Any other idea ?

Check the impeller to make sure that it's not clogged up (pinwheel or mesh). Another idea might be to remove the cup and upper cone (if you can get it off..they tend to get stuck) and make sure there's nothing blocking the drain inlet.

How high do you usually keep the water line in the skimmer?

Have you added anything to you tank recently? I was using a ick treatment that made my skimmer go crazy.

I will try checking the drain inlet..

I always keep the water level at 9". I designed the sump baffles based on the ASM G2

I got it taking care of...the venturi line was clogged up with salt creep and not allowing air to mix with water. Eventhough there was a massive amount of bubble..

but it went back to normal..
