Are fish from different LFS really different?

I have no idea how many wholesalers are in the Dallas area so I have no idea if each LFS gets their stock from different places or not.

My experience with purchasing fish seems more about the individual fish itself. Find out if the LFS has more than one of the fish I am interested in and then spend some time watching those fish and comparing their actions.

I usually have a poor success rate when there is only one of something or I do not watch the catching and bagging process. I saw one LFS try to net a fish and the fish jumped out of the tank. The guy picked the fish up and bagged it.

I think I have been to all the LFS near me and purchased fish but I will not go back to the last place mentioned.

Currently 4 out of 5 fish come from one LFS because those stay alive and I don't know why.
 
I know this question has been asked but I can't find it in search.

What online sites would you recommend for obtaining fish?
