I think I might have enough weldon to do that... it will be close. I'm about to buy some acrylic and a new can of weldon... hopefully today. I'll let you know... if you still need help.
Oh!... forget it. I noticed you said "expert". An expert, I won't claim to be. I just happen to have cool tools and some experience. Let me know if you still need my help.
That is some thick acrylic for a tank that small. All you need is 1/8" or 1/4" at the most. I made my 6 Gallon pico from 1/4 acrylis and wish I had used 1/8"
