Aquac remora pro question - Does anyone have one?

[I have a few questions about the AquaC Remora Pro Skimmer and I wanted to see if anyone here had one and could answer my questiosn. First, I would like to know the width of the outlet on it. Second I would like to know if the inlet tube can be remoevd and replaced with clear tubing so that the inlet pump can be relocated. I appreciate any input anyone has.]

[I dont understand why you would want to, but you should be able to plump the pump anywhere you want with clear flex tube. THe return must sit on the back of the tank and is about 4 inches wide.]

[Thanks for the reply. The reason that I would want to is because I have a DAS system and I have extremely limited hang on space and I would benefit from being able to relocate the input and pump to another location within the tank. Do you know if the original input tube (the L shaped tube) that comes on the input can be removed and replaced with the clear flex tube, or would I have to leave that on?]

[I would think you could not move it, since it it glued/melted
in there.
Doh, someone answered the same time as me.

Have you looked at the urchin instead and put it in your
das compartment?]

[I would have to somehow remove one of the DAS compartment walls to do that. The compartment is divided into 3 sections that measure about 4"-5" by 4"-5" and the Urchin is 7 and some inces long. Although, I am thinking that I may just have the output dump into one section of the compartment and have the nozzle run into the other one but relocate the pump to inside the tank with the flex tubing. This may not sound good on paper, but it sure looks good in my head.]

[Well if it doesnt work out for you give me a shout and Ill buy it off you if its a pro.Ive sold my AquaC to tealcobra and need a skimmer by this weekend when I swap to my 100 gal.
