Aqua c vs beckett - Which is better?

[i'v heard many good things about both types of skimmers, but i need to know which one does the better job. I'm buyin one for xmas so i need to know pretty quick. And how much louder is the beckett over the spray injection. The two i was looking at was the Bullet 1 and the Ev 120. Let me know ya'lls opinions...]
 
[I think "better job" with these will be a matter of each persons own opinion. I have an AquaC EV-180 on my 90g and I'm quite happy with it.]
 
[Spray injection is a dull rumble. If it is in the stand, you won't hear it at all.]
 
[Honestly you can't go wrong with either. I have only known a few people with the Bullet.

I know a ton of people with Aqua Cs and have never heard a complaint.

Both are high quality and work well. In reading RC it seems most people would go with a Beckett since it seems to produce better skimmate but honestly you are comparing a $500 skimmer with a $300 skimmer so it should be a little better!

So if money is no object go with the bullet. The EV is great and in my opinion a better value.]
 
[Bullets are good if you have the clearance inside your stand to set the skimmer's outlet higher than the water level in your sump. If you dont , you will have hard times readjusting the gatevalve everytime you re changing the water level in your sump ( adding RO water, ....., even when you feed the fishes).

Just some more info on skimmers to consider when choosing.

I think the thing to consider on the beckett is the ability to clean the injector. I have no experiacne with a bullet so I do not know how accessable the injector is.

Did you look at the trigger systems?]
 
[I have owned both as well as others (ETSS, AquaC, EuroReef, Precision Marine, LifeReef) and I will choose a beckett fro, now on. It is personal preference to an extent.]
