Apex vs JBJ Chiller temperature

I have purchased new Apex unit. It is displaying temp at 82 however JBJ Arctica 1/3 hp chiller is displaying 79 (3 degrees off)

Apex temp is correct. I have put a new digital thermometer and it is showing temp at 82 as well.

Is something wrong with the chiller or is it normal? can I correct this problem?
 
That is perfectly normal the chiller doesn't take direct water temp it takes it from the pipe temp and yes you can correct the temp by calibrating it.
