Apex VDM

I'm going to purchase an Apex tonight and hope to order the VDM module. Will it be compatible with my Steves Leds? I know I will have to buy his interface module to do so, but is there anything else I need? Also will the interface control all drivers (I have 5)? I'd like to place my order tonight so any help would be great. Thanks!

Also my display is in a different room than my main pc. I need a router right? If so any recommendations?

You can use a wireless router with a wireless gaming adapter or run cat5 directly to it from your router.

This is the one i use works great.

Dont order the vdm module said:
that is if you have full apex. If you have lite or jr you will need the vdm. Also if you are needing the apex to independently control 5 different channels or you are controlling something like tunzes in one I've two 0-10 ports you will need to buy a vdm.

Apex has two 0-10v plugins but each plugin can control 2 channels.
Port 1 does 1,2 Port 2 does 3,4

if you have 5 different color LEDs that need to be dimmed independently you will need a vdm if you have a full apex. If you have lite or jr you will need 2 vdm

Thanks for all the responses. I didn't order the VDM, I just want a complete dimming, all drivers at once- not blue/white separately. Yes, I bought the full apex.

Here is the range extender i used for internet at the apex

You can also use a cheaper game adaptor as well such as

If you want to dimm five different colors independently from each other then you will need a vdm. Apex can only do four out of the box
