Apex Lite Base Module Question

Do you have to buy a display module with this or can you not just plug it into a computer or Ethernet and set it up remotly and then monitor everything on the computer?

It is the Apex controller without the DC8 electrical plug box. You should be able to hook it up to a PC with Aquanotes installed.

You may not want to do that unless you are hardwired, if your wireless goes down you would be SOL. You also can't calibrte probes without the display unit. I was also under the impression that aquanotes doesn't work with the Apex. [smilie=smile.gif]

Cheers,

with out a display module you cannot set the admin password so if you want to look at it over the internet it will not be secure.

if you run controllable tunzes you do not want the lite.

if it were me just save and get the full version.

I think there is a $100.00 dollar differance. That is allot but you loose allot of features...including loosing an additional probe port.

plus you can not control tunzes or dimmable t5's once they become more affordable. just save the money and get the full version.
