Anyone ordered fish online?

[I've never ordered a fish online. I'm just wondering what to watch out for, good/bad experiences, etc. I'm thinking of using LiveAquaria.com.]

[I would use saltwaterfish.com, pretty good prices, and if you order 80 dollars worth of stuff free shipping. They have a 7 or 6 day Guarntee (Cant remember) but go check it out]

[Chris,

I ordered most of my fish online using liveaquaria.com and saltwaterfish.com. If you use the dripping acclimation, there should be no problem. With saltwaterfish.com, their fish seem to be smaller then their description. Liveaquaria has their prices higher but fish are very healthy. Liveaquaria has 14 days quarranty which is the longest on the net I believe.]

[I was just curious as to how well the fish handled the experience. I ordered and will receive on Friday; I'm setting up the QT tank again tonight.]

[I have used liveaquaria.com in the past and have had a good experience with them. The 14 day guarantee can't be beat.
They partner with e-tropicals.com. I was concidering trying them out for snails and crabs. They often advertise free shipping over $60.00 Anybody done buisness with them?]

[Try to never place an order that arrives on Friday. If anything goes wrong, you won't get it until Monday - *dead*. Always request Thursday if you can.]

[I have used Etropicals as well for cleaners and I cant say I was as pleased with their service. I literally had to fight with the woman for a refund on an item that they did not ship. I did get the refund, but the customer service there wasnt as good as the other partner for some reason.
Justphish.com also gives free shipping on orders over 60$ and I have had much better service from him. He doesnt always have everything in stock though, but at least his website will show that.]

[Well I have order allot fish and corals from petwarehouse over the years
which is now (Doctor Fosters and Smiths) Liveaquaria.

From my experience, I have always received great fish and service from them.
If one should die, you just send it back for a refund. I have however.....
Never received a decent coral from them.

They have actually sent me dead corals just to fullfill the order. I stopped
buying corals from them and started buying from Marine depot because of that.]

[Well, so far...everything looks great. I'll post a fish pic later after I turn on the QT lights. Here's my new pocillopora. It even came with 2 symbiotic crabs (as well as a very small shrimp, but he was too small to ID).]
