anyone have a Rubbermaid sump?

I'm trying to get ideas for a sump to put on my 260.
I'm considering going the rubbermaid route because they are able to bend and flex.

I need them to bend and flex just a bit so that I can fit them under the stand. The legs on the stand are 24 inches apart so I really wouldn't be able to fit a decent sized acrylic or glass sump/fuge under there unless I do multiple small ones (which is what I plan in the future). The rubbermaid route would only be temporary.

If anyone uses this method, please post pictures and / or a description.

Thanks

Marcus,

You may want to get one of those heavy duty rubbermaid like Serk. I am getting two which I will be using a sump. Tractor supply in Lakeworth has them for 70 dollars.

I wouldn't recommend the rubbermaid where it can bend. You will notice if you go with the cheap rubbermaid, the box will bend outward which is a pain.

I currently use this method and have for almost 3 years, but I am to switch it out for a 40 gal breeder. A disadvantage of a rubbermaid sump is that there are no baffles. So you have to direct flows, etc to ensure you do not get microbubbles in the display tank. It can be done but can be a challenge.

Here is a pic of my old setup but essentially the same I have not (cannot find a recent photo that is good.)
