** ANY SPARE 250W SE BULBS IN CENTRAL DALLAS? **

Naturally, the night before I have to go out of town two days for work I come home to my MH not working. Unfortunately, I have neither spare bulb or spare ballast to test it out on.

DOES ANYONE IN THE CENTRAL DALLAS AREA HAVE A SPARE 250W MH LAMP THAT I CAN BORROW FOR A FEW DAYS?

I'm good for it; I'll even bring you a coral for the trouble. I'll be out and about for a bit, shoot me an email and I'll get back as soon as I'm back home.

I might have one - but my lights are already on and I can't test it yet. I can't remember if the one I have is DEAD or just older.

I think I tossed the dead one a long time ago and that I kept this one as an "extra" just in case (It's less than a year old - in terms of used hours). I think it's even a different brand than the one I tossed.

Anyone know how to tell? It's not black or anything.

Anyway, if it's usable, then it's yours. I have an extra new one now.

Anyone venture an opinion whether or not corals would be OK for 2 days with just ambient light? :?

Clark and I have a couple of pendants that we used when our ballast blew. They're not fancy, but you're welcome to borrow them for a couple of days if it'll help. One is a 150w 10K and the other is a 175W 14K (I believe). The only 250W bulbs we have are DE.

Nathan - I have 2-250w SE 58m 10k bulbs you can borrow. There just sitting at home waiting to for my new tank. There about 3 months old.

I have a 400w 10k & 20k bulb, socket, and balast you can borrow also.
