Any recommendations on a kalk reactor?

Now that I've got my new tank running that will support SPS, I'm looking to get a kalk reactor in the loop to treat my topoff water.

What I'm shooting for is to only have to add new lime to the system once every two weeks at a minimum. Evaporation will be about 4gpd.

Any pros and cons from specific manufacturers that you can share?

Has David from Trigger Systems given any consideration to building these by chance? :)

It is very nice I have seen it in person and the quality is top notch. Plus you would save lots of money going this route. (No Tax or Shipping)

I was tempted to jump on that when it was posted, but after several days of reading up on the chemistry and the amount of fiddling that is typical of setting up a calcium reactor in comparison to a kalk reactor, I've decided that the kalk reactor more suited to my needs is the safer route to go.

I think I could teach my wife how to run/refill a kalk reactor and coach her through it over the phone if it was needed, but a Ca reactor would be out of the question.
