my parents live in McKinney and I am visiting for the week. I was going to see if anyone could recommend some good stores to hit while I'm in town???

They pretty much listed the stores around your area. If you are up for a drive there are a couple more.

Frank Tanks in FW
Tranquil Scape in Arlington. (1000g show tank is a must see)
