Any clue as to what this is?

This little critter is about 1/4" and very sticky. I think it is some kind of anemone. Can you please help me ID it.

Yep, I think you're right. When it is fully open it looks just like the Google Images for a Ball Nem.

strawberry ball anemone I would get those out ASAP. They will kill almost all corals they touch and multiply fast.

I've never regretted having them. If you have a coral nearby being affected, you can move it or nuke the little guy, but for the most part I've never seen one cause damage to neighboring corals. They are all over my system, open at night for the most part. I think they are quite beautiful.
