In searching the threads here and elsewhere I have seen several people who seem to have had success moving a tank from one room to another without taking everything out in order to do so.
I have a 75 gallon tank I need to move about 20 feet from my foyer to my office. I have seen Marc recommend corals can be exposed to air for some time without harming them, I was thinking about draining the tank most of the way and using those Teflon discs to slide the tank into the next room stand and all. Without the water I should be able to lift the stand enough to slide them under the corners.
Is this worth even trying or should I just get the Rubbermaid tubs ready and take everything out?
