Another good find...?

Last week I popped into EA and found this... it had just been delivered to the store. I've always wanted a Coco Worm, but was afraid to order one.

Do they normally have two heads? (Not sure what you call them) :D

It has a brilliant color!

Yes, that is totally normal and beautiful. Heather will drool when she finds this thread. :p

What a beautiful coco! Good color!

Make sure you feed it some phyto....these are famous for not living too long, though there is the occasional story of one lasting more than a year. I had one for 10 months. (Won it at a Christmas Party for the club a few years ago, now that I think about it!)

Well on-line I've seen them run anywhere from $75 to $100. After my discount, it was below the low side of internet pricing.

We really never had the chance to own one. Before Katrina hit we had a Copperband Butterfly and wouldn't risk it.

Thanks for the feedback, just wanted to share. :)

Strange thing is, I hear how feather dusters are hard to keep. We have a large brown/red duster that went through the storm, survived having its tube eaten and is still living in the tank

there are actually a couple of pieces in the new tank that made it through
the montipora cap
a bubble coral that grew from a dead skeleton
branching flower pot
couple of ricordias

and of course the blue damsel lived through it all
(banished to the sump)
