Anges reef safe?

[It depends on your defintion of "reef safe". EX Everyone says lionfish are not "reef safe" but unless you have shrimp or small fish you will have no problem.

Some angels are semi reef safe. I just ordered an emperator and I am crosig my fingers. I have read that there is 90% chance he will eat all zoos and softies. 30% he might go after LPS. There are tons or SPS tanks on RC that have this fish.]

[I had a semi large Koran Angel who could care less about corals. He was initially raised in a fish only tank before being moved to the reef tank. Unfortunately he is no longer with us. I think it, like most everything else, is a case by case basis.]

[My theory is if they are not in a reef tank they are not happy. And if they are you will not be happy. Sorry Mitch ]

[I believe it is on a fish by fish and tank by tank basis as well. If you want to be sure and still get a angel, go with any of the Genicanthus sp. angels. They are all, without exception zooplankton feeders and completely "reef" safe. :p]
